Mark Rammers is a self taught Dutch photographer based in Amsterdam but at home on the road, where he uncovers beauty in ordinary situations while witnessing the continuous change of the natural and man-made landscapes surrounding us. He bought his first camera to assist his then girlfriend in her endeavors to become a photographer, and after a few early publications and exhibitions decided to fully dedicate himself to photography in 2019.

With a focus on community and connection, he immerses himself in communities that face challenges when it comes to protecting their roots and culture in a time of rapid social and environmental change. He thrives by traveling to outer reaches concentrating on sustainable experiences that benefit local and indigenous communities directly.

He's happy to travel everywhere (everywhere!) for commissioned projects.
