About “We fail to see the beauty we never look at.”
Mark Rammers is a Dutch photographer currently based in Amsterdam. He documents the shape of natural and man-altered environments and the effects it has on our daily lives, our habits and rituals. When taking photographs, he collects images of seemingly ordinary objects and situations and shapes them to a story of culture, people and everyday life, often leaving the beaten path.
Inspired by the 1970’s New Topographics movement, his detailed, minimalist style serves as a continuous thread through his work in travel documentary, architecture and interior design photography.
